NEWS: Entrepreneurs needed for The Enterprise Challenge

Our parent organisations Edinburgh Napier University and Bright Red Triangle are currently looking for local businesses to take part in their TEC programme (otherwise known as The Enterprise Challenge) from 26 – 30 September 2016, which is led by the Centre for Entrepreneurship teaching team at Edinburgh Napier University.

It involves having a group of students look at your business or a specific issue for your business, and present findings after a week of research for you – and it’s free!

They need entrepreneurs that are reasonably well established and have been trading for upwards of a year. Edinburgh Napier University runs The Enterprise Challenge where a group of students work together on entrepreneurial business challenges. We are looking for businesses that may be interested in the offer of a potentially valuable, objective view of your current business and some fresh ideas for the future.

At the end of the week the students will present their suggestions as to how you should grow your business. Hopefully you will get some worthwhile ideas that you can use in developing your business. All information that you divulge will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be used outside this project.

Your availability and access requirements are:

  • 2pm on Mon 16 September 2016 for 2-3 hours with a 3 min introduction / overview of your business to present to the group
  • Students to have access to you by phone or email on a daily basis (for the week, 26 – 30 September)
  • Then if possible for you to join us for presentations on Friday 30 September from 1pm for about an hour (we will create a timetable to reduce the impact on your schedule and give you notice)

Please let Cilla Richards, Project Coordinator, Bright Red Triangle at Napier University know if you or anyone you know would like to participate. Contact: c.richards@napier.ac.uk | +44 (0)131 455 4372
